Now as much as I know lots of people use this, I hate it. I dont see what it can do for you in a dm or duel enviroment apart from what I consider cheating. Its an apparent communications addon / proxy so why people use it in duel ... well its not for communication is it.
The ability to assign skins and the number of stupid filters available on it are enough to seriously piss me off.
If you use it on the servers, and me or one of my admins catches someone with the p_modified command disabled, you will be kicked off, there and then, no chances, gone. And if this sounds unfair, fucking well learn how to turn it on, one guy i challanged learnt pretty quickly. It can't show up exactly what the client is doing but it shows hacked sounds and models, and i cannot stand lame athena using wankers who assign fullbrights to others, so they cant be seen and they can see everything else in preditor vision accuracy.
The dmflags on the duel and the dm servers will be changed from 6am tommorow morning, 20th of decemeber, to disable some of the features xania provides. I would prefer it if people did not use it at all, and could just go on the server with a pure exe file and play the game as it is meant to be played. If anything goes wrong, or the servers start acting strange because of these dm flags, pls msg me asap on IRC in #barrysworld or send me a mail to dimebag@barrysworld.com .
And if anyone feels the need to whine to me about this, they will be ignored / banned. Delete as appropriet. Unless of course you have a valid point of course.
