Anybody else wondering just why in the hell they've now got Zoe Ball working for them. I mean just going on the fact that she is irritating and about as funny as Kez on a good day, can anybody tell me what they hell they were thinking?

She is actually pretty good, the guy on after Christian O'Connal however is painfully bad.

Zane's fantastic as he's actually enthusiastic about music, which is novel for the Radio. Richard Bacon on Sunday's is also semi funny

I don't much get to listen to it on a Saturday, but I think he does. If he doesn't he still does adverts & stuff for them cos he was insulting one of the other DJs a while ago.

London-local FM radio station for 'alternative' music. Used to be really good when first launched. Was later taken over by the Capital Radio group and turned into a mostly commercial pile of dross. All the good stuff is more or less relegated to small shows late at night.

X-fm was great when it first launched, I was working in a lab in Camden at the time (about 1992 or so I think) and we used to have it playing on a shitty little radio on the windowledge behind the radiation area, fucking great it was after months of bastard Capital FM. Then I moved away from London and when I next heard it some years later it had turned all poo and boring :/

Zoe Ball's OK sometimes, gets on my tits other times though, bit like Chris Moyles - sometimes he's really funny, sometimes he's just an offensive cunt appealing to the lowest common denominator.
