Never watch it any more. I know someone who can really sing who didn't get on it. They actually choose the dreadful ones to go on TV. They all have to sign a disclaimer to say they won't say anything about any of it because it's so obvious that the first shows are such a fix.

Can understand that tho. At the end of the day they are trying to find someone that can be a recording artist.

Now there's thousands of people who can sing well, but you wouldn't buy their record if they made one. You either need to have something unique about your voice to differentiate yourself from the other 1000 people who can also sing, or be so bad that people will laugh at you. (or have a sob story ofc).
Joe average singing well simply isn't television even for the bored people at home on a weekend, since there's literally thousands of them. Only people at very polar ends of the spectrum are actually worth putting on the show.

Yeah it's a shame for the bloke. He's got talent aswell.

But that Austin lad pissed me off, right honestly when you watch it, just watch it when he's on and christ all fuckign mighty he cries constantly.

What a fringe, get a grip man!
