In 2 days im gonna go to smackdown world tour in my city and I wanted to know if any of you has been in live wrestling before and if they enjoyed it.

Personally im dying to go

every single soap on tv is fake and setup but everyone still orgasms because deidre killed some mother fucker.

deidre killing some mother fucker is the last i took notice of any soap, and even that was un-intentional.

Why do you enjoy TV shows, films, serials, ... or those things?


We all know its setup and fake, but I see it like a show. The moves and jumps and so are spectacular to me. If you dont like it well I respect it, but please, respect me.

In any case is your opinion (which, by the way, I didnt asked, im just asking if someone went to a show similar to this and if he/she can share his/her opinion)

Well, almost all the things have been said about anti-wrestling things...except that try jumping through three tables, get smacked down face first on concrete or get chokeslammed by a 7foot gorilla.

Then you'll see that it may be theatre, but it hurts, it's risky and it's the foremost stunt show ever on TV.

Have fun at the show, i went to the RAW tour in 2004 and even if my seat was a bit away(8 rows or so), the feeling you get when you're inside a show is phenomenal. It's a "must experience" thing, much like seeing live monster trucks, BMX shows, STOMP and whatnot. Seen all but whatnot

Oh and to the WWE Diva basher calling them men, have you SEEN the superstar puppies?! I mean...puppies!!

Prefer Cage Fightning ala UFC / Cage Rage or even Pride in teh ring style - soccerkicks4tehwin

Been to a live Cage Rage event - that was brilliant - great seats, music was so loud it was ridiculous between fights, loads of ring girls etc wandering round and best of all - loads of brutality and it wasn't scripted..

I have been once and it was amazing live and like has been said when shelton benjamin ran up the ladder agaist the rope spins and everything in the air and lands on peole / table after a 20 ft drop there is no way that dose not hurt. Its like any other sport you pay to watch superstars do things you could never do.

I would go again well worth the money

i used to enjoy wrestling, then i got too old for it and retired lol, sorry couldnt resist... no i mean on telly twas good fun and yes its fake but you have to admire the moves and choriography tbh.

top tips for watching live wrestling:

-get a giant foam hand and a sign that says something like "kill kill kill!" or "yeah baby kick that arse!"
-buy a hot dog and wave it in an angry fashion at the opposing wrestler
-shout woo yeah and noo!! lots

have fun and if your really brave you might even try the hotdogs Oo

I love these people that say omg but its fake, almost as if they think that people that watch WWE think it is real. We all know already, however I would like to conduct a throwing you through a table experiment so you can tell me that it didnt hurt ;-)

Its a great show that is fantastic live, the atmosphere is incredible, of course it depends on whether you can let your hair down for a few hours and be prepared to Boo and cheer for the good guys and bad guys

Get yourself a big foam hand!!!!!!

i believe mick foley was the best wrestler along with HHH, but only sometimes.

mick foley is either a crazy bastard or some of his fights were real. specifically one i remember is when he was thrown off the top of the cage into a pool of nails in the ring. they then all stuck into him.

lmao you can hate it if you want but do you really think you can breakbones shaving? Break your neck?
And if your strong enough you can pick some one up easy enoughgrab them behind the knee and swing them up just like they were helping. Looks alot better the way they do it though.

TNA is dire. Copying WWE skits from years previously. Belts changing hands willy nilly. I was shocked when TNA signed Vince Russo, he helped book WCW to its death. Along with Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan, those three killed off a thriving company, burying legends like Sting and Ric Flair whilst pushing thier own group(the N.W.O) that fans got sick of seeing win all the time. Up and comers like Goldberg and DDP didnt stand much chance with Hogan and Nash running the show.

I personally prefer Ring Of Honor and the high flying stuff, shame that will NEVEr be able to compete at the level of TNA, let alone WWE.

WWE needs to stop pushing Taker, Triple H and Shawn Michaels and give the belt to someone like Carlito. Fans are bored with the John Cena gimmick, they prefered Edge on top. Its a shame Triple H is using his marriage to Stepahnie McMahon to book himself where he pelases, which is always top of the card. I as a fan, am sick of it. I love Carlito's gimmick. Reminds me of Stone Cold from back in the day. WWE fucked up by releasing Kurt Angle, him and Benoit are fabulous wrestlers. On that note, Benoit is another great wrestler who is always underused in the WWE. Eddie Guerrero was the same for a few years, until they realised that the WWE had no real contenders once Rock, Stone Cold, Brock Lesnar etc left.

JBL was another jobber who found a decent gimmick and was rewarded with a 9 month undefeated run.

I agree 100% thats why i said if you like WCW you will like WWE because they are both un original WWE rejects in the end. TNA even have Goldberg erm sorry Soma Joe.

I can't help but think there is something else going on with Kurt Angle as he has always been WWE hardcore.

I agree with you HHH need to go away Shawn Michaels is boring in DX as a new age christian I want the undertaker to hang about till WM to get a 15 year unbeaten run. Unfortunatly both carlito and shelton both really great but neither are mucle bound steroid heads so are not going to be work champion.

I have about 8 or 9 of the ring of honor dvds and they are great seeing paul london in a real fight not just agaist knobs in a dead tag team devision.
