They don't, people were generally of alot tougher in mindset back then. We are all a bunch of spoilt babies these days, kicking off at setbacks that generation would have just shrugged at.

cos parents are trying to be cool best buds with their kids at it ends up turning em into bratty lil c**ts. Discipline is what is needed.
