Not really thread trashing but i agree with the guy.. plaited hair isnt worth much at all :/ you can farm it with a buffbot with fop and more or less any meleer OR caster with a focus shield

He quite clearly isnt asking for your opinions as to how much YOU think the items are worth! An item is worth as much or a less as someone is willing to pay/how badly they want/need the item!

I agree, but obviously I only have ME prices to base it on - especially when an items value fluctuates because of scarce availability and high demand.

In a way your argument is kind of like saying, well I am not paying £500,000 for that house because last week it was only £300,000

You're missing my point, which is that such increases do happen in real life, they are called market forces. We have to put up with it in real-life, so I fail to see why DAoC should be any different!
