i've done it in 1.5day before the end of auction. there was no bid on the staff.

Really lame not wanting to pay more than you need. I find it lamer to set a time for an auction and then just remove it before the set time.

Everyone has the same chance to bid in last minute, but noone but yourself and the buyer knows if you ends it before the given time.
