low? for a common drop? ml9 can be farmed with 1fg and all your backbags will be FULL within 3 hours or so ... including a few of this shields

Simple supply and demand... if people are willing to pay 5 plat for the shield thats what its worth...

Hence why the scout/mini shields on Yussef's CM are priced @ 5 plat and a few have been sold. Not because they are hard to get but thats what people are willing to pay

Getting abit tired of everyone doing a copy/paste about "ooh supply/demand" crap, this trick simply won't work anymore, yer a fool to show yer interested in an item badly. And because theres 2 big spenders it doesn't mean it's worth a certain price, it just means it's worth a certain price to them.
And the worst thing in this game is, is that those 2 ppl who pay a rediculous ammount kinda steer the whole market meaning alot of ppl are paying more then needed.

Actualy ur find alot of albs have atleast 1 ml8 char now aday, and ppl are right, the shields from ml9 are comon for most part, only the mincer shield is worth 5p+ and thats because its not a comon drop, medium/large are worth 2p at best, comon crap.

Nah, if prices are too high, then people who can't afford them start to look for cheaper alternatives. There are lots of nice shields around without needing ML9 stuff.

The worse thing for the market is greedy/lazy people being willing to leave items up on their CMs for months at a stupid price, rather than reduce it for a faster sale. If people adjusted prices every week, they'd settle faster to what the majority are willing to pay.

Frex, I decided that I wasn't going to pay more than 1p for any legendary component since that's what it is worth to me. Failed to win any on raids, but was eventually able to buy a couple at that price from CMs. From checking them every day, its clear that prices in general are still too high on those ... there are lots on sale from being farmed. The people who reduce their prices get the sales and the cash, the others are just wasting space on CMs. Price your legendary thing at 1-2p and it'll sell fast. Price it at 4p and it won't. Simple.

tbh i dont think 5 plat for a shield is stupid when you compare it to some of the prices people charge for scrolls.

I agree, and 5 plats aint that mutch gold, 1 p = 1 hours farming, hence 5 plats around 5 hours farming, put a ml9 grp together will proberly take 1-2 hours and farm there for 1 day, thats around 5-6 maybe even 7 hours and then maybe not get the damn shield or win the lotto for it ...

you can't farm Aerus City for 7 hours with 1fg because in that time all your backbags will be FULL with 100% qua drops (including a few of them shields) after like 4 hours ... so to re-do your maths: backbag full of MP drops in a few hours outperforms 4 hours of DF cash farming tbh
now stop hijacking this thread and let him sell his items
