Smithy's Hammer from ye old SI had a similar thing, a hammer with the particle effect of a 2hander, they fixed that so no doubt theres a fix for this aswell.

You sure you're not talking about duskwood Thunder Skin? Because thats a very different drum, with no glow at all. The reason I ask is because I too have picked up one of them at your house
