not worth 3 plat imho perhaps you'd have more interest at
a much lower price.
Can get 99% Chain Hauberks for ~900gps, +350 SC,
+300 proc, +xxx enchant and get 33 util, whereas that
is MP but only uses 30 util.

qua 99 u get 33.5 util at max out of 28 imbue points
and mp 37.5 util at max out of 32 imbue points
this hauberk my friend has 41.0 / 32 util which is impossible for crafted to do
definitely this mp hauberk is worth 3 plat

The thing that stops it being worth 3 plat imo, is the proc.
Chest piece is your most important proc, so to have damage shield, the only proc worse than having no proc at all in there, is, to say the least, unfortunate.

ii) The chance of the proc going off is doubled
Now - what you say is true, an MP chain hauberk
is rarely found for as low as 3 plat, you are talking
of one that is not SC'd or proc'd - thus allowing you

template to fit around other item you have.

Btw,
There are various bits of dodgy terminology and incorrect maths going on in this thread.
The Utility on this item is 64.
(Stat increases x 2/3) + (Resist increases x 2)
The number of bonus points required to imbue it would be 39.3 .
((mVal1 * 2) + mval2 + mval3 + mval4)/2
Where Resist mVals are (resist % - 1)*2
and stat mVals are (stat increase - 1)/1.5
mVal1 is the highest of the individual mVals.
So...
As mentioned above the item is not craftable by a spellcrafter using existing spellcraft technology.
However, the proc is still gimping the item, and your primary market for this item, Clerics, have no trouble capping every stat with a mix of easy jewelry, epic parts, and 99% parts.
