As far as i am aware the heat based DOT's dont stack with the alchemy ones.
I had a cleric hammer with a heat Dot proc, and a crafted one with a matter DOT and i tested it out switching.
The heat one overwrites the Matter and vice versa.

i keep looking at these robes hoping its changed from str to something useful for a friar, but it never does unfortunately
