So i rarely actually create threads, but i just needed to ask people if they find this equally as useless as me..

so i needed to do some college work at home, and being the cheapskate i am decided to download the microsoft office trial, i then went to start typing in word and to my shock find out that one of the disabled features for the trial version is typing.. so this kinda leads on to, how are you supposed to trial a program when you cant actually use the main function of it at all :( and now i have to do my work in wordpad and not knowing how it will fit on headed paper later on, teh suck :(

Well dont think there is any disadvantage when using OOo over ms office - the features they got are way more advanced that what the average and even professional users need.

If you want something REALLY advanced you aint gonna be using a WYSIGYG editor anyways :p
