A moot point, as you can probably find something somewhere in the Bible to support killing. The question which (religious) leaders encourage murder might be more appropriate.

To answer that question: IRA (latest: 2004 [as far as I know]), ETA (latest: 2003 [idem]), ALF (latest: 2006 [idem]), can think of more, but these date from no longer than 5 years ago.

Every modern military shoots deserters. And not meaning those guys who eat all the desserts in the army. Though they should be too.

That, is what I call savage.

No religion encourage it, but if you mean that islam and such encourage to blow up christians, it's the same deal around christian parts.

I'm just wondering, should we then "educate" every other race and religion on earth about the way we live?

Because...ofcourse WE are right. Not like other religions/cultures say that.

By we i don't mean me or other members of this thread, i mean the people who seemingly dictate what is and isn't "wrong".

Sorry tohtori, but I've tried to put "IMO" after nearly every sentence, I'm not saying that everything I've said is 100% right and correct and my moral ideas are the only ones that matter, please dont talk like I'm "dictating" anything because I really dont think that I am, infact I'm purposefully trying not to.

I have to say though, surely any set of moral ideals that prefers the death of school girls over the breaking of a religious dress code has to be pretty fucked up? Again this is just my opinion but really, how can anyone think like this in this day and age?

That was kinda the point of the whole thread, I'm not trying to open up another pointless debate about the ins and outs of the gulf wars and the state of the middle east in general, just trying to point out this specific event.

Yes its wrong to let people die, but thats the law there and their laws work for their country. At the end of the day thats ONE example, and ONE instance im sure if you looked hard enough you can find many attrocities in every society, one example being paedophiles not being locked up in this country instead they are put on a register and set free to wander around pretty much unsupervised again whereas in Saudi they would be put to death if found guilty. Its realy down to your opinion whats worse, sustained abuse from a child molester or dying in a fire to uphold certain laws (p.s. doesnt say anything in Islam about covering yourself from head to toe, it says you need to dress appropraely this is another instance of people manipulating religous teachings to extremes)
