problem with the ford gt is they couldnt do car chases coz you'd have to stop and re- fuel every 6 or 7 mile, and thats IF you managed to get it to work

Problem with american cars is that they are usually A) Utilitarian B) big muscle cars, or C) Old folk vehicles.

There are no real american supercars that are cool anymore. The ones that are are the ones that have already been used in television during the 80's. What hey should have done was have a custom built car for the job, based on the chasis of something sturdy, and modified to suit.

Now, if they were going to use a car, the new dodge is just not realy viable. Its ugly, ill designed (Too much power and pre-historic suspension), and is as stable as a vindaloo made with nitroglycerin.

However, its for a remake of Knight Rider, so if it can't jump, do tricks or be easily remote controled, then its gonna be a very series, and easily flushed down the bog as a bad memory.

personally i love mustangs but for knightrider i dont think it would work.
the Lambo Bestia Nera i think wouldnt be a bad idea for knightrider to stay kinda in line with the old school car but with todays top performance ...

mustang was chosen to keep the same feel of it being a sharp muscular car the others (aparts from the lambourghini) are all too rounded to fit the profile
