Over the weekend I tried to email my brother (who's on Blueyonder) using my LineOne account and got the same error returned. Same message sent from my BarrysWorld account got through okay.

Looks like Blueyonder have excluded a few ISPs, probably to prevent one or two spamming peeps. Seems excessive and I wonder if they're having problems with their system over the Christmas break.

Might be worth looking at Bluryonder support pages to see if there're any Known Issues posted.

It was the one asking if anyone wanted to join forces with me for the re-vamp of my website,

Whats wrong with asking that?

Well, it means blueyonder email addresses have been blacklisted for spamming (again). Not by Barrysworld, I can't remember who actually does it. Tried to check the Blueyonder Status Page but it timed out on me.

It's a pimp. We don't like pimps here.

10 minutes is nothing mate ;)

Though admittedly, the waiting time to speak to me is 0 seconds at the moment. Damn, I'm good.

Oi! I never said that...

I happen to know that there's a crappy little H-reg Fiesta with a boot full of booze knocking about. Apparently the locks on those things are crap!

Happy Hogmanay, everyone! :D

Wow 10 mins, must be quiet.

Ive waited an hour b4 speaking to someone. Ive also been given a direct like to head tech guy. After 45 mins of being on hold to his phone I rang reception. They said oh that number goes to someone who is on their lunch break. Wasnt impressed.

This was RM.

LOL that old one :D
best thing to do with call centres that have 0906 support #'s is find out what their "overseas" support number is. As you can't ring 0906 #'s from outside the UK they generally give out the number to reception.
Pretend your calling from overseas and get cut price tech support.

no point doing this if you already have a local rate or freephone number for support.
but for the ISP's that chage 50p and upwards its worth doing if you know its gonna be a long call

As far as I know some of blueyonders mail relays have been open at some time or other (haven for spammers) and have hence been added to a blacklist that BW use. BY have been informed afaik and its upto themselves to get removed from the blacklist.
