WTF is going on in DAOC now?

ello folks!

some of u might remember me and some dont, doesent really matter hehe... i just wanna ask a questions actually.

can someone competent tell me what gimps SB have gotten lately?
i've been inactive for about 5 months, or 6 err.. a loooong time i mean hehe, and want some info so i can consider if i do want to return to daoc when my ADSL arrives hehe...
i prolly will return however, even if we're gimped to useless fodder, but please gimme some info so i dont get my expectations up too mutch, cos when i retired from daoc my SZ kinda owned 1 on 1 vs. a great variety of classes, but i assume those days are over as i saw a video capture of a infil chewing up everything from zerkers to warriors not to mention tons of sb's.

oh btw, any old-timers still playing?

respecced my little blue man to sz after patch and doing fairly good 1vs1.
sad part is that there's lotsa gimps going in 4-5 man crews ^^

We relly SUCK now so wb ohh and u dont wanna play in emain unlsess u are in a grp cause the noobfils zerg all the time, and yes infil can own everything they just need to get their df in

SZ do real good against infs, if you got purge up, DFs not a problem either. SBs are still totally playable. The problem is much bigger, like milegates, stealthzergs etc. If you are the kind of a perosn who gets frustrated easily, better not try to solo.

Got no problem against infils, and I'm not SZ

( note, unless they get lucky and my purge is down )

And Shaurr: solo is still possible and very enjoyable

I respecced my SB as you get a free skill line respec in 1.62, as I seemed to be dying a lot, so I am still 5-spec but more of a basher now and with poisons,

WAS 35Stealth 37Axe 39CS 39LA 26Env
NOW 35Stealth 44Axe 21CS 39LA 35Env

If my purge is up, I win most of the battles, poisons for teh win! :>

As a SZ - you should be fine though

I think your biggest concern will be the buffbots. If you dont have one - you cant win.

Sure you can, just have to be more careful with what targets you pick - but true, you won't last as long if you get jumped, and might have to let far more targets go.

You should try out your SZ first and see what it's like. I respecced to CB...I win some I loose some, but on the otherhand I've had too little time playing daoc lately...seems like every time I play I feel a bit "rusten"...

I like solo best...if that is your thing too then fear _the zergs_ more than your spec.

I thougth I heard mention on you going SWG?? Stop that thought and go daoc instead imo...and stop listening to you know whos "doom" prediction on daoc, cuz it ain't so :mgwhore:
