Yah, i've dont it and i didnt get the chance to even role for the gloves, as u say its an easy encounter need 2-3 ppl to do it so the one who wanna sell me a pair of them cant expect mutch.
But if they dont need them at all and wanna earn a cupple of gold coins it might be worth it for both.

Heres my method if its any use. I think it can easily be done if your a ranger with a druid friend.

Place ranger near chest.

Put druid between shore and chest, in cast range of the chest.

Grab chest and sprint to shore, use PF boost (lvl9) and all your end bar, if you really wanna make sure then use an end pot too. I just move diagonally up reaching the shore and surface almost at the same time.

The trick is to get your druid to spam AOE root like a complete nutter, my buffbot has only a 10sec AOE root, but its enough to get the sharks off the ranger or stall em a bit. I also cast my one crappy single insta on the ranger. Some sharks get rooted, some attack the druid cause of the early insta, but in general youll have done enough to give the ranger time to run away while your druid dies

I tryed this but i have to controll both my fop druid and my ranger so kinda.. impossible :E...

Well, a few factors makes it very hard for me to do it, so cant u do it for me if its so easy ? All i need is the gloves not the encounter

The first time I did this I did it as I described above, on another occasion I saw it spawned and tried to just use my ranger, I died about one second from the surface with maxed toa buffs, and SCing that capped everything pre-NF (no cap increases or fancy charges). My ranger is only RR2... so I can quite believe that someone with AP2/3 and capped buffs could solo it, though sub standard luri scum like me prolly need a edge more than just buffs to be certain.
