Noone stated the stuff couldn't be sold, so i can sell it. I also had a number of offer's as soon as i won the ring but i decided not to at first. But then i realised that i needed cash to fund my cabbies ToA'ing up, therefore i'm doing so.

Loot-rules are there for a reason - rolling for the item purely in purpose to get cash out of it is just as valid option as rolling for the item to use it in your template, questioning the moral of such an act is just plain stupid. Vlad selling this item would be a "normal" thing and deserves no whine, by not selling it or perhaps giving it to someone who needs it would make Vlad extra-nice-guy - that's probably what I would do

TBH I do not see what people complain about, you won the roll and do not really need it, but in order to buy what you need you have to get the cash from somewhere. Hence the high prices on these things.

I won the same ring on 5.10 and auctioned it here with no complaints, went for 16 Plat I think. Started off at 1 Plat mind.

The /random method for loot is fair and whoever wins can do what the hell he likes with the loot. No point getting bothered about a few pixels and an entry in a database.

alot of ppls idea of their realm is their guild + ingame friends so why shouldnt they set high prices if it helps them progress faster?

Selling this item is a great example of sticking together as a realm - both the buyer and seller wins here. Actually someone could be a very non-greedy person and buy the ring for 100p to help his fellow realm mate.
