It seems I have to rehash some fundamentals here, so here we go: Some people who play this game are IRL friends. Friends often want to play in the same guild. The people behind this artifact farming are just that, friends, and the fact that they happen to be in SS is secondary. Therefore, I see no reason for you to try and tarnish SS's name as a whole.

1. We (me and my irl friend) got those artifacts from our hunts, not from guild hunts. We dont get em from lotto or something like this.
2. We dont sell artifacts to guild members, we help them to get artifact/encounter ( if we have time ofc ), or give them for free.
3. We have the skilled chars, we have the time ( during mornings ), what should we do? just stay and look at some mobs how nice are they? No, we kill them all and sell the stuff to ppl with no time for this. Its easy to farm cash/scrolls 1-2 days and then buy the artifact instead kill high purp mobs, if u have only 1 char and maybe 1 BB.
4. In this games came a add-on named Foundations. We bought houses put our CMs up. Now we sell stuff at our CMs. Is this wrong?
5. Sry for my bad english

Do u pay for his/their subs? no u dont .....u cant tell ppl not to kill that if he/they see X (Eramai/Danos etc etc ) up and its not camped ... cause u need it but u got there to late ...what they do with those artis .. i dont think thats ur prob since he/they killed X (etc etc).

Nothing special really, just i found strange this auction. Scalars n GoV are very demanded artifacts, and as long as i know SS is not known for doing arti hunts and putting them into cms.
I was only a bit confused. Now i know he farmed em outside guild hunts so guess it is his own bussines

if you nor a friend/guildy dont need the artifact you simply dont start with the encounter if you find it up.
Need before Greed ... simple and old rule wich no-one seems to follow anymore
alot of ppl are having problems wich getting their artifacts: long respawn timers, lots of ppl allrdy camping the spawn, not enuff time to play/camp etc

there are loads of miniraids you can do in this game with a few friends, farming artifacts so you can have more plats and you boning your realmm8s who actually need those artifacts to be up is not one of them.

mayb i need to remind you that atleast 80%of albions population never ever saw an amount higher then 5P in their inventory, dont have a buffbot, dont have much time to play and play more casually
and you farming these artifacts for those is purely an illusion, its the powergamers who gone buy them off you who got loads of cash anyway but cba to farm an arti themselves
most casual players will barely ever find a artifact up, because of ppl like you

Last night I worked quite late. When I got home I didn't have the time/patience/energy/inclinatination/ingredients to cook myself dinner, so I ordered a pizza and paid someone for his time to make it - we were both happy.

If you want X, but can't get it, and can get Y instead and trade it for X, then what's the problem?

As for 80% of albion never seeing 5p? 5p is roughly the amount a character makes going from 40-50 in Avalon City groups.. 5p is 20 minutes farming the right scroll mobs.

Don't have a buffbot? Take a friend. Or do casual players not have friends?

If I am wandering about and I see an artifact encounter up and available, I'll often do it - whether or not me or the people I am with actually want/need the artifact - mostly for the fun of doing the encounter. If I cannot find friends within my guild who want the drop it'll eventually end up for sale/trade outside the guild.

I am really lost as to see how the reputation of my guild should be tarnished because members within it have a brain and understand how an economy works and have found a way to get what they want through trade. People complaining are really those that haven't woken up and got a clue yet.

Before you start flaming people, get your facts sorted.
Me, maramar and karn found Mesed while roaming trough styg. Dunno if you are familiar with this encounter but the mesed barely spawns and if he spawns he gets killed by random styg mobs rather sooner then later, so we killed him right on sight and it dropped.
I knew judas was still looking for the cloack desperatly and laaken still owed me varals 2o3 wich i gave him 3weeks earlier so he could activate his cloack.
He was promised me to farm it back but had no luck during that period and at that time i needed it back asap because, kirennia borrowed me her varals 2o3 so i could activate my cloack and she found the cloack the day before.
So i told judas and laaken that they could have the cloack for a symbolical 3plat and varals2o3.
Further more i have given various artifacts away for nothing because teh ppl in question have less chanse of getting their artifacts because of work etc.
SoM, harpys,som,scalars,battlers,tartaros and many more..
i barely join lottos unless its for stuff i actually need or a friend could use
before puttin scrolls on my cm i ask my guildies if they needed and if so i give it away.
i put all my scrolls on my cm for 1g except those wich are actually worth something, those i put em at 1a2plat lower then the cheapest scroll to be found on teh CM list . If id put them any cheaper i know some ass will come buy it and put it on his cm and make a few plats profit by doing nothing
ive participated MLraids on other ppl characters cuz they couldnt be there at that moment.
i have helped everyone askin me to help out on an encounter if i had the time
etc etc..

The selfishm of most players in TOA simply sickens me, its all about themselves and having no respect for your fellow realmm8s.
Yes mayb my point of view is retarded and utopic.
But i just miss the old days of daoc where everyone actually helped eachother exploring new things.
