This reminds me. Can you all please welcome the WP players into our collective :).

If the tables were turned and BW was dead and we had to go to wp e.t.c you'd feel as gutted as the wp players feel. So be nice :)

Yes I agree SAS...think you might need to ban perplex to make sure they feel welcome ;)

I joined both boards at the same time although I've used BW a lot longer :)

i used wireplay only like 2 years a go but after that I used all of the different servers

I used to play Quake 2 on Wireplay.....

/me gets his coat and a gun and trudges out into the night heading for the marsh to put a bullet through his head

Sucks that they've been closed though as I very much doubt that this BlueYonder thing will be exactly the same :mad:

I think I first played on Barrysworld - but had wireplay installed and played Q2 on the newbie server lots.
Was good fun.

I remember a similar thing being said, when Barrysworld was in trouble, it's a sad day for online gaming when a big gaming community like Wireplay (or Barrysworld) as the case was a few months ago.

Yeah, I am another refugee from Wireplay, Go easy on me, I'm feeling fragile at the moment ;)
