I like this its a brilliant move. For years potato farmers in backward European countries see some decent totty singing for the UK and think "i want me some of that" so over they come. Now they see a big gayer and think "nah fuck it".

I agree, the song was horrible. But given the ammount of crap from (most) other counties, she would have won with anything basically.
It´s a shame, because she actually has a pretty good voice (if you kindly ignore her fake english accent).
