Bugexploiting? certainly not...

I was sitting next to him...

He was standing behind the banner on the wall at Bledmeer with some other albs, and I remebered you mids showing Kemor how to get on keep roofs and that he said it was totally legal?
In fact he even fell through the wall then after a while and got stuck inside it, but instead of casting all kind of AE nukes at you he got out and said that casting from there WOULD be cheating.

We found out about this trick when we saw a volley of runemaster bolts (or shaman or something, don't know midgard classes well) flying from behind a banner while we were attacking a keep.


It's not nice to call people cheaters when you don't even know what your talking about, and it's even less nice to post these kind of things on the forum, its really 'not done' trying to ruin someones name like that.

lol Teador is a cheat

once we retook DC couple days ago, he was in the walls shooting at me whilst I was sittign in the courtyard, i asked in alliance chat wtf was goign on, and they all said the cheat was in the walls sniping people.

He did it again today at DC raid as well, hope he gets banned.

Oh and what was Kemor's responce on using log in "bug" to get onto roofs and stuff?, surely it aint acceptable, it guarantees u cant be kiled whilst up there

I really don't know what he said in IRC, but if he said anything about wallbugging then that was a stupid thing to say, if...
But I didn't see him shooting through walls, he was casting from behind the banner, he fell through wall, got stuck, and less then one minute later he even died.

He almost died a few times when he was behind the banner, a clever greencon (at 48) hunter found out and walked a little the the right side of the keep and started shooting arrows at him, but everytime when he got blasted once he ran off and apparently didn't tell anyone about it

Midgard ain't as angelic as they like to think they are.

Why not start sorting out your own realm mates first and then start flaming Albs? Everytime you complain about a cheat and we see your team mates do it, you lose all credibility for your arguement.

a) Middie casters inside MG destroying armies while remaining invulnerable.

b) Middie archers using bugged bows to kill people from about 10 streets away...

c) Middie casters *and* archers standing on top of keeps and shooting people through the roof during a keep raid.

Glass houses, stones, people living in, shouldn't throw.

Re-arrange the previous words into a well known phrase or sentance.

the point is jadow that nobody should use bugs,not mids,not hibs and not albs.and if someone is using them they should get reported.you can't blame someone for saying someone of another realm cheats just because some in his realm cheat too.
you know a realm isn't just one guy but lot's of people and some will cheat but that doesn't mean it is the whole realm that is cheating.

Oh I quite agree. But I just found it amusing that having seen countless middies do far worse, this guy is being strung up by the 'nads for his behaviour.

Report 'em all - that's what I say, and i try, but sadly it's very very difficult to prove unless Kemor is online at the time (he seems to be the only person that zones around)

c) being on the roofs at keeps isn't a bug so... but being inside the walls is, and albs & hibs both a helluva lot more guilty of doing that than mids are as i've seen/heard of all of NO mids ever using that bug.

b) well the bow has been fixed, and as it consisted of what 10 players of the whole of mid who cares quite frankly

Yip, very quickly by a certain Manachanter, who went in after the little sniper to confirm that the wall was indeed occupied, who then stepped back out, and proceeded to pbaoe the living crappola out of Xanoo.

Xanoo, you have been warned before about it, once more and I will most definitely report you for every single time I have caught you in there.

Beware anyone who tries to do this, one of the first things I do upon entering an enemy keep is to pbaoe spam random parts of the wall, so you won't like it once I hit 48

[Edit: this goes for Hibs too. I have a list as long as my... arm of Hibs who I have heard of being inside the keep walls. As Zarff says, this sort of behaviour ruins the game for us all, so if your name appears on the list more than twice, no matter for what reason you can come up with, an e-mail will be winging its way to RightNow who will deal with you when they get around to it. I believe in second chances, and I also believe in lag during keep raids, so 1 chance for each of those 2, thats all you have]

I have never seen a hib do any cheating but i am normally too busy with oranising than running around the keep checking if ppl are cheat if you have seen a hib cheat plz post it hear ,name plz and i can ask him not to do it again

This is how bug exploits surface:

1/ Bug Exploiter does his dirty deed
2/ Victim of Bug Exploiter (obviously in one of the opposing realms) tells people about it on a public forum
3/ Similar victims back this up on same said public forum
4/ A report is made to GOA
5/ Nothing is done about it

Its just the way it goes, you dont usually report a bug user from your own realm as you rarely see them use it, as obviously they cant use it on you, so its always gonna be a guy from an opposing realm that identifies and brings to light a cheator.

I am not gonna feel guilty cos I identified a bug user that abused said bug on me, just because some otehr gimps that just happen to be in my realm do so.

What ur saying is I got no right to complain against a bug abuser cos someone in my realm does the same?

@ Solid, Did the same thing myself 2 days ago, reporting bug-exploiters to GOA Im a thane and I can't exploit any bug afaik and I sure don like others doing it. But with my alt Huntress (and the Bow of Flames) i dont think I have the nerves to do stuff like that (but they fixed that tho)....gues im just a nice guy having fun..... and gives a sheet if I die once ot twice getting killed "the fair" way.

If u read this (and other threads) ull recognize its mostly Albion & midgard whining at each other both cheating theirselves.....

Hibs not only play more fair,
(Yes, and even if some moles now come out again of some dark holes saying "nah, i can remember this long dead hibbie cheating there a 100 years ago", youll find out 90% of all cheating and whining is from albion / midgard),

theyre more friendly at all... i play all 3 realms and hib community is the best through the servers (german & english, dunno french).

So u people searching a nice, fair playing, less cheating community u know where to go .... HIB (--> plz prywden ) )

Simple fact is that if you see someone cheating then grab a screen shot if possible, but at the very least file a report with RightNow giving the player's name, the server, location, time and date together with any other useful information and let GOA go check the log files they hold to see if the case is substantiated.

Yes, you can name and shame if you choose to do so, but I would advise you only to do this if you are 100% certain that the person has indeed cheated.

One of the hardest examples is people on the roofs at keeps... some of these you can legitimately jump onto (perfectly allowable if you can do it) whereas others you may need to perform some bu exploit to reach.... the log files will show who is cheating and who is not so let GOA check first if you are not sure.

'Log-jumping' is abuse of a bug, and GOA have said they will not accept it.

Also, to say GOA will not do anything is not correct, and players have been suspended or banned for bug abuse and will contiue to be so.

Main thing is don't come here after the event flaming one another saying MrX did this or MrY did that in cases where the incident hasn't been reported.

As for who is worst? All realms have their bad guys and we all should report them whether they are on 'our' side or 'theirs'. I know that I will.
