Just to clarify something for you people who seems to have no clue.

Once you're at the 102.4% avoidence mark, stam is the best way to go, and its easily reachable in full 397 (dragon soul normal) gear.

For dk's however, its advicable to go 50/50 mastery / stam in your gemmng, because the higher hp pool you have, the higher your shield becomes naturally and since dk tanks are the squishiest tank regarding avoidence, its even more favorable to go for a higher hp pool.

Also for non-shield tanks its adviced to actually get some expertise/hit once you're at the level of mastery (read 28+ mastery) to make sure your threat doesn't suffer and you actually add to the dps, since in cata blizzard made this brilliant move to make sure that tank dps is counted into the dps required to down the bosses today.

pretty much what i'd already said ;p

Tanks that stack stamina now are pretty fail, they need to stack mastery/reforge avoidance stats accordingly until they hit the 102.x% mark where they are deemed "unhittable" not really unhittable in that sense but it basically means every single hit they take will be a dodge, parry, miss or block (-X% damage taken per block - that obv only applies to shield tanks) dk's are also stacking mastery because it ups their bloodshield which is their main source of damage reduction vs physical damage, not too sure about feral druids, they have a similar shield component but not sure what they stack.

I don't agree with the hit rating tho (as said not sure about ferals), you might find casual guild tanks getting capped hit/expertise after crucial stats but you will very rarely find top end tanks even touching hit/expertise as its simply not needed since blizzard upped all threat gains to 500% / your dps doesnt slack off, the only time you'll ever see top end tanks touching hit/expertise is on enrage timers that literally need every bit of dps.

Yet for spine hc progress pre-nerf every tank went and reforged into expertise/hit to help with tendon damage

Here's an old guildmate of mine when i was actually raiding anything serious: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/trollbane/Proxim/advanced

Feel free to check out top guilds dk tanks aswell, pretty much every dk tank sitting at 8/8 hc are going for expertise and hit after getting to a safe level of mastery and avoidence because their dps makes it viable to reach certain dps levels to make it way easier for healers in general.

Hence saying "the only time you'll ever see top end tanks touching hit/expertise is on enrage timers that literally need every bit of dps." or in the spines case Soft Enrage.
