ok so at work today I get a phone call...which is strange in iteself because I never get a phone call...this is wierder though turns out to be a sister I have never met (mother had her adopted as a baby way before I popped) and we are meeting on sunday...


her, her husband and her 2 little girls (my nieces I guess lol) she sounded well nice and I am really excited...but talk about a flipping shock lol I almost fell over backwards.

well... um I havent spoken to mother in over 5 years lol, am pretty sure tis not a hoax because I was told I had a sister who was adopted out (only found that out a few years ago) all I can think is I am poor have nothing to be hoaxed out of anyway, things measured up from what she said but its not all going to be like "aah my long lost relation... here have my chequebook and door key!"

I'm a very secluded person so it'll be interesting to see how I react with someone who could potentially be a "friend"

Well; today is the day...


Tummy is a bit um, how shall we say, energetic this morning but I went for a nice long run (yaaaay nearly 3.5 miles! woo!) to calm myself. Am really very excited; I wanted to get a little something for the girls (surprise nieces...god, wierd lol) so got them each a picture book, "Aliens love underpants" and "Dinosaurs love underpants" and then hopefully if all goes well after surprise sister and I have met and spoken for a while in private we shall all go out for milkshakes.

Now for the important stuff; should I wear my Gonzo The Great T shirt or the one with the cow telling the milk bottle "milk I am your father" and the bottle going "nooooo"?

I'm leaning towards Gonzo tbh, but the Milk one is subtle enough that anyone who knows nothing about starwars will not get the ref and just think its a wierd logo...

Mate of mine met a brother he didn't know about when the guy was delivering a sofa to his apartment and they got chatting. Sounded way crazy when he told me about it but apparently it all checked out. Affairs in the past, Dad with wife and family but also providing support to single mum and child while keeping the two worlds seperate. He keeps in touch with the guy and his family. Worked out ok really. Might have been worse if the dad was still alive though I suppose.

really well! lol I was shaking like a leaf rofl, we were both early and recognised eachother straight away, both have brown eyes and a similar build but there the similarity with me ends but she does look quite a bit like mother, it was really wierd I didn't notice it straight away but afetr we were speaking for a while I saw it lol; so no doubts she is legit.

We had a great chat for about an hour on our own, both met our partners at the same time and October is our fave month. She's really nice and seems very down to earth but fun too and (lol Thor!) didn't get offended at my starwars cow& milk t-shirt. Her Hubby and my nieces (rofl can't get used to this) are nice too and we all went for milkshakes, the older of the girls is part monkey, she climbs everything (2 trees and one sign post in first 45 mins) and like dinosaurs (woo!).

They're coming to the hovel (AKA slug-ville...AKA my flat) tomorrow to see the pigs (the girls love guineas lol) and we're meeting up on wednesday too, not getting too carried away at this point but first impressions are very good and we shall see where it goes.
