If you have absolutely no life here, not meaning people who are 'depressed' and think they have no life. But, people with no family/friends/interaction/enjoyment worth existing for and tbh, they're not the kind of applicants that would be considered for such a voyage, anyway.

If the Ship was huuuugggeeee, eg city size, had parks, forest, rain forests, like the eden project. thousands of people, so you dont get bored. trust me after being at boarding school. living with 150 on your own year the same people for 6 years was hell enough, let alone your life.

also has to have a computer game publisher, and a link to earth so latest movies can be sent over. and Big guns to kill any aliens on the way.

then maybe....

it will be awhile before we resort back to sprouting from the evolution of a newt anyway.

Also did anyone watch the latest horizon about the theory that our universe started due to a collision between two dimensions, and that these two dimensions are colliding all the time and thus a new universe is being created every microsecond, and we are one universe of a infinite number, and that matter only exists for a fraction of a nanosecond and re appears a fraction of a nano second later, after existing in the other parrallel universes that co-exisit, and that the timeline in the other universes is always slighty different, AND that the 5 superstring theorys are actually the same theory all from a base theory called the 'membrane theory'

But American space agency researcher Dr Geoffrey Landis says the Earth has a finite lifespan - the Sun will eventually burn itself out - and if humans want to carry on they will have to find a new home.

The sun will eventually burn out in 5 billion years, although this planet will start burning up in 1 billion....neither really matter to me personally. Although I knid of think the human race to doing a good job of wiping this planet out ;)

The Sun gets 10% hot/bigger, can't remeber which, about every billion years. After 1 billion years the planet will start to convert to a planet like Venus, run away greenhouse effect.

I think he means, if you are out to sea 12 miles, you are in international waters therefore everything is duty free.
