just watching a program on TV. A couple of chefs travelling around the world check out what people eat. Beetles. Maggot cheese. Elephant. Horse. Unsurprisingly, they went to vietnam, saw dogs crammed into tiny little cages, then they were butchered and eaten. Apparently dog stomach doesn't taste very nice. Anyway...

would you give dog a go?

Actually, I rather reckon I've eaten dog before.
In the Atlas mountains in Morocco, some backwater 'cafe' place in the middle of nowhere were doing Tagine's of an anonymous background. There were lots of puppies walking around, sniffing feet. The meat was very boney, not tender and didn't really taste of anything, except the spices it was cooked in.
If it was dog, then it wasn't too bad.
