Would it be worth having an effect that shows someone is rezz sick?

I'm thinking more 1on1 or looking at people leaving keeps - it's really annoying risking life and limb, and most of the time dying, to get the dreaded message "Fred has been killed recently - you just killed yourself for 100RP mwhahaha"
Or even better "Fred was killed a few seconds ago when you weren't looking - have 0RP"

I was thinking a similar effect to warlocks but with a green ball that goes around your head would be handy, you could fight people knowing it would be worth fighting them. Maybe people would steamroll less knowing you are worth 0 or reduced RPs.

How would this affect 8v8 fights? Would people who are rezz sick be targeted quicker as they are weaker?

What would be the pro's and con's?

I think it would be handy to have.

personally im amazed that after all these years people STILL believe that rezz sickness has anything to do with the realm point value timer at all.

They are entirely two different things and not linked together in any way. Rezz sick or not you will still not be worth realm points until the specific timer is up, which was reduced in length for NF. They are roughly the same length of time now but completely independant.

I think people know it's a timer and not based on RS, but it's just easier to say "oh he was RS" than saying "oh, he had died recently so we gained less rps" :)

Well, that's what I do anyway :D

If they are moving you no they are rez sick as they move slow:) rez sick is retarded, maybe lower it to 30 secs:twak: or maybe so you can't fight till it as gone:) some people take great pride in running out when rez sick:wanker:

The worst part is, if you are attacked by someone when rez sick, then manage to kill them, you get ''you have been killed recently and earn reduced realm points!'' never made any sense to me, ''ok you killed someone with a significant disadvantage but you get less rps for it as it was obviously much easier'' :/

Game is built around rvr, which means keep defense. The point of the timer is you're not supposed to cure rs and buff up on borderkeep, then port right back to keepsiege and earn full rps when you for example, suicide-bomb enemies.. then repeat etc.

Yes a little Ball with a the RP number in it. And it automaticly change depending if you grouped / added or similar.

I meant RPs yes. I just think it would be handy knowing that you are going to get RPs for what is a lot of the time a suicide effort at killing someone.

It kind of makes the journey more worthwhile.

It's a good idea :), but think also that if a fg kills a solo they should get no rps or negative rps :). Maybe when u get targeted it would show that u r solo or grped somehow.

Where is the challenge for a fg to kill a solo player?:puke:

An idea

Here's an idea:

Stop camping the enemy docks, bridges where people most of the time are still rezzill while running from the teleport-keep.

No need for anything when sickness as he moves slower, and something showing how much RP's you would be worth is just silly.
