How quite true. Ive never flamed where people didnt deserve it. The fact is the ircfanboys, and their lovers like yourself, take great pleasure, in slagging off and belittling (sp), the casual gamers. I have fielded many a PM in game from these casual gamers, asking why people such as yourself feel the need to do it. All i do is stick up for these people. Go see Brackens post. It sums things up quite simply.

Lets do a comparison. I play for a quite successful rugby league team. We win most games. We have some excellent players, of county standard some also have represnted their country at amateur level. There are also forums for amateur Rugby league. When we go and beat a team, who are strugglers, dont have the player base we have, or the facilities we have. We beat quite easily by a huge margin. Do we then proceed to go on their teams website and slag them off? Of course not. Wouldnt dream of it.

So why does it happen in an online game?

If Random Roleplayers bet a group with me in, I wouldn't resort to insulting them on FH because they are nice people.

If Synergy bet a group with me in, I wouldn't resort to insulting them on FH.

Personally I think the RvR these past few days has been simply pathetic and a waste of time, not enjoyable in the slightest.

Heck i've even done a bit of crafting to get away from it.

RVR monday night and weekend was great, maybe u should leave the bridge and keeps, and roam 1fg in HW. u may see it differently then.

I dont know how people can compare Warlocks to Necros anyway. Necro is still not viable in RvR due to the pet having a mind of its own lol. The majority of the necro whine is directed at 1 particular Relic Raid (which im pretty sure most of the people whining about it werent even there) and the LOS problem. It was sorted soon after that anyway.

Cap matter resist and buffed to the teeth, but was killed by a warlock (Aimstar...?) in ~1.1 seconds. Not one of the most happy moments in my DAoC-life, but on the brighter side I didn't get any stupid emotes.

That's exactly the point. How some people can act like complete ***** towards other people over a game. When you hear some f*ckwit yelling "F*ck off loosers! Don't add!" when people join in on a fight taking place in site of Beno bridge it really makes you wonder. Or they come on FH sneering at people as "zergers" or "adders" and generally belittling them because of their rr or the guild they are in. Or when they say "But we just want fair fights!" - which doesn't square with their actions night after night. What they fail to understand, either because they lack the intelligence or are just too f*cking uptight, is that the average bloke plays this game for fun and that they aren't going to take some jumped up cock bitching at them from behind the safety of their pc screen. Especially when most of us lead fulfilling but busy lives and log in to chill out a little after a day at work.
