Its so much easier to have old Skool awful games, just cos they cost £2.99 each, and on sale were ridiculously cheap, so you could buy a game purely cos you liked the front cover. Hence the awful Snowball in Hell made it to my collection. But I'll be damned if I'm forking out like £30 quid for a game that is less fun that teeth removal. I want to be sure first.
Having said that, I did recently buy Simon the Sorceror. It was the dual pack (I & II) for £14 and it sucked so badly I binned the second game without even taking it out of the packaging.

I just bought Tech Romancer for the DC cos it was only 7.99 and it's a Capcom game. Boy does that suck. Awful gfx. No gameplay. Utter molewank !

And as for Halo - he comments on nothing about the game being good. Wow, yes, it has lots of polys, it has lots of game modes, it has mulitple player support, you can drive vehicles. But what's good about them?
Halo looks pretty good yes, and it does have a lot of options and stuff like driving vehicles. It had a shitload of potential. Sadly, it's a console version of Daikatana in its gameplay - it's truly bad. The reason why some people have praised it is because they're console gamers - I imagine this is a pretty big step for console gaming, FPS wise. Anyone with any experience in FPS games should be able to see through what it is though - a bad game. It's even Daikatana like with the enemies - instead of annoying jumping bullfrogs you have annoying elves which try and spunk at you.

lol damini sounds fun, i dunno what the worst is, ive played too many to think of any particular one, i used to be a playstation fanatic and bought the official magazize every month with te demo's on the front, the number of shite games on those demo discs is unbelievable

all games that take 6hours to complete..... max payne rtcw etc.

Yeah I forgot to leave out two of the tycoon games....
Transport Tycoon
and
Rollercoaster Tycoon
were indeed ok
but the rest are pathetic
there has been like 1 tycoon game released per month for the last 6 months

You know those sections that are in some computer mags where people send in their ideas for a new game?
Well back when the Sim xxxx series got really big someone sent in an idea for Sim Riot. You either take control of the cops or the rioters and act accordingly, probably using an interface similar to todays Shogun - Total War.
The mag in question published the idea but made the point that they were very scared because they liked the concept so much.
Interesting thing is, they are now releasing State of Emergency on the PS2 which is not too dissimilar.
Back on topic: Worst game I've ever played was some crappy thing on the Speccy called Terror in the Deep 3D. Arse and suck are the words that immediately spring to mind. Also any of the Dizzy games on the C64 and Super Mario Bros.
