Dunno why I said mine were cross breeds, there pedigrees but they didn't have the official document it was just the mum was dark and the dad was really white.

I agree that alsations > all dogs, though I hate calling them alsations, their german shepherds !

King of all dogs.

They have the true canine shape, loyal to a fault and the police force have been using them since the 1930ies so they can't be that wrong

Personally i've had GSD's around me for as long as I can remember, couldn't imagine life without one around me.

My dog has never been the same; the Vet said he's never seen a dog deteriorate so fast, it is physical killing him he even makes weird noises in his sleep and twitch’s and the nerves in his back are pretty much gone so he has trouble going to the toilet as well .

Yes I know obviously cross breeds are prone to it but 12 years isn’t a bad age for a cross breed or any dog really and the other is still going just.

not saying the hip flaws given genetic will cause them all to die at eight but im saying that their life can be turned into a hell... dunno why they're allowed to be bred when theirs a high chance of their hips to be flawed. its like the illness Huntingtons Chorea. Men with that disease have a 50% chance that his son will enherit it and die @ the age of 40 (like himself). shouldnt be allowed to knock any female up.

Yeah I know what you mean, even pedigrees are prone to hip problems like mine, 1 got it and the other didn't. Cross breeds are even worse which shouldn't be happening unless it’s a very close breed and it’s not in the parents.
