I got that figure from a documentary series about the History of Rap I watched a few months ago. The comments were for record execs and they were based on world wide sales not any specific countries market. And I bet there is more rap sold here than megadeth/metallica/pantera anyhow, maybe cos you like rock all you see is rock?
