Gonna need the recipee for that moose stew. Give here!
1.4kg moose meat cut into squares bout 2cm, 500g button mushrooms, two packs of smoked panchetta, 300g small onions, tomatoe puré, 2-4 teaspoons of flour, butter, pepper, viel stock, a good red wine.

put meat in pan, give it color, put in stewpot, add flour so it coats the meat, add about ½ dl tomatoe puré, fry it off, add the wine so it covers the meat, 2-3 table spoons of the viel stock.

Fry off the panchetta put it it aside, fry off the button mushrooms in the panchetta fat, put it aside, fry off the small onions, and put aside,

let the stew simmer under a lid on low temp for about 2 hours, add the panchetta, shrooms, and onions, add more wine if needed, let it simmer for another hour or two or three, depending on how you want your meat.

Usually dont need any salt due to the stock and panchetta.

When coating meat with flour I usually do it before cooking. Putting the cubes of meat into a bag of flour with seasoning. Give the bag a shake and it coats the meat quite nicely with no mess. Not sure I can get moose or venison here but I have made similar stews with beef and lamb.

Is that site trustworthy?

Worth checking out some reviews see if anyone else has ordered from them. We all thought we were eating beef over here until it was found out to be horse.

You're probably getting beef thats been squashed by a car tyre then painted with a few zebra stripes, shot, and given a few lion teeth mark FX.
