well, i've just watched the film and its made me interested to know some facts about that day and those towers.

Does anybody know a site, or any facts that may be interesting? Like why did those buildings fall down so easily? I know flying a plane into them kinda' helped. Thanks!

There's several vidoes online which talk about the structure of the buildings, mid-level explosions etc. Google Video is a nice place to look.

Don't go there Laddey. You can go and watch "Loose Change" if you want to be patronised by 14 year olds making up facts and exaggerating the truth. Or you can watch a fuck-off plane slamming into the side of the building, and make up your own mind :x

What other answer would be there beside of the one you already gave?

I mean the structure of the building, the size and all other shit didn't help?

Was it because the buildings were so big and/or unstable? I don't know, thats why i'd like to find out!

Many people don't want to believe that it was just the planes that caused it, it's their fantasy :) We'll never find out, I'll stick to the "Planes hit it, buildings folded due to poor building work and explosions every 1/15th of the building on the way down" :)

why exactly does this have anything to do with conspiracy? its a general interest. how come the buildings collapsed that easily has nothing to do with the US government (nescessarily (SP?))...

From what i've seen it wasn't the planes hitting the buildings, but a combination of the explosions of the fuel and the fires weakening the structure. The buildings themselves would have survived the plane hits alone.

You answered your own question.

That plane was big enough to take out a few floors, the weight of debris + heat + impact damage is enough to causes the collapse of level of flooring, the rest is the "House of cards phenomena" The plane didn't take out the building as such but it started a chain of events that did.

I actually had a theory of a government explosives "act" that would be logical, but something they'd want to keep a secret aswell.

Each building, above a certain height, is rigged with exact demolition devices that the government can, in case of situations like this, detonate to avoid the building from falling over and falling apart in a generally "safe" way.

This would make sense to have in place, would explain some of the "conspiracy" thingies(which some make sense), and would be have to be kept a secret by the government 'cause who the f*ck would wanna work in a highrise rigged with bombos :D

Seal, that wouldn't really be needed as gravity means that buildings will fall straight down, if you work out all the forces, the only time they don't is in earthquakes etc when there is a lot of sidewards momentum.

As for the buildings collapsing, their structural strength was in their walls, and not in any internal supporting pillars like most buildings. The thing is that this means they needed to be held ridged by the buildings floors, otherwise they would twist and break under the weight of the building above. However the fire from the plan weakened the brackets that held the floors in place (the type used are known as "Fireman killers" or something like that in America, as they tend to break in fires), this means that the floors collapsed, and the walls weren't ridged enough to support the wight of the building above them, so they started to collapse.
