Rooney won't be risked till at least the Sweden game, I have that on good authority from a friend at United. Fergie wanted guarantees that he wouldn't play till the 2nd round or quarter final but the doctors have said he could be ready in about 10 days time.

Being Swede looking at this I think many of you are overconfident. On the other hand I think Swe + England qualify and then it makes group A more interresting......

How good is Germanys young guns.....how good is Poland and Equador (i count Costa out, doubt they make it)

I personally think Germany win that group ahead of Equador, which would mean winner in Swe/England group take on Equador. Could be alot worse in 2nd round world championship
