ItV have upgraded a bit, Ive watched every world cup game so far.

BBC wins hands down for me, purely for the fact I dont like Gabby Logan :p

Hes not commentating :(

Sure he was commentating on a game for BBC this week, Mexico vs Iran I think it was.

and BBC hands down. ITV commentators annoy, from the annoying drivel the main commentator always dribbles out to the co-anchors they use (Ally McCoist /Andy Townsend etc). Never liked their Champ League coverage either

Only thing I like on the ITV coverage is the fact they have Stuart Pearce as a pundit now and then. :)

I put BBC for the main reason that I hate the adverts on ITV, but Mark fucking Lawrenson needs a good punch. He really gets on my tits. :wanker:

ITV are amateurs and there comentators really piss me off, especially that one they had a few years back that shagged Man Utd up the ass when they actually got past the group stages of the champions league and people thought they might even win somthing..... now they couldnt win the ldv vans trophy.... anyway back to the shit commentators..... that talk so much bullshit, cant belive these people have gone into a interview and got the job as a commentator when im not football expert but know the stuff they come out with is bullshit.... the wanker i mentioned above.... cba to find out his name spoke for 10 minutes on how paul scoles was manchester born and bread when he comes from oldham and played for the oldham youth squad, supports oldham and wants to come back and play for oldham

BBC on the otherhand gets people who know what they are talking about, ian wright, gary linker, alan shearer.... and that scottish muppet xD

i can see sometime in the near future hopefully that channel 4 will get hold of the world cup rights instead of itv (though i dont know how its handled) because they deserve it a lot more and have much more quality shows on than itv, the only reason itv still gets high ratings is because people just seem to go for bbc1/itv to see whats on and watch it thinking there will be nothing else, the kind of mindless people that watch coronation street and pop idol and that kind of shit religiously.... kinda went a bit offtopic but yeh its related :p

in short, i could do a better job of presenting the world cup than itv

bbc however is world class as usual :)

In Ascii

http://ascii-wm.net/#

You can now watch the world cup live in ASCII

Basically go Start -> Run -> cmd -> OK

then in the command prompt window type: telnet ascii-wm.net 2006

The site is rather busy - so you may need to try a few times to get in.

ITV fucked up during Spain game

It cut out shortly after second game, bringing up a orange screen with the clock on it and this morning on it

Then cut off to adverts!

BBC hands down, Hansen has to be one of the best pundits around, and Gary presenting is beyond awesome! :D

Oh yeah, there's another thing about the ITV coverage. Some of the Budweiser sponsorship ads are rather amusing. BBC though are still the best at presenting sports.

Think they are a dig at a real life American commentator.

They have a presenter who does baseball and knows little about football. People have petitioned to NBC(i think) to put a real pundit out there :)

Ah, I see. I thought it might be because of something like that. Besides, I have been to America and seen the sports commentating over there. :)

ITV is the Sun reader/sub-100 IQ channel for mindless automatons and worker drones.
