Mine was last year at a Web design/graphics design place.

Anyway tips ..

Practice making cups of tea and coffee - as stupid as it may sound it will get you brownie points!

Always ask the boss if he wants anything if you go out to get some dinner.

If you really don't know how to do something then say so, otherwise you may end up looking like a total moron.

Goto The toilet lots and when all the bog roll has gone, you have something to do.

Keep out of sales talk or when the boss/workers are talking to customers. I nearly messed up a sale because of this.

Always try and seem keen, no matter how crap the job is.

Give quiet hints about pay like "wow i wish i had the money for a Pc like that"

I did mine at a pet store - I managed to kill 1 baby rabbit, 'lose' a snake, and release a scorpion.

I start my job at the Zoo in 2 weeks.

Rar. Just finished my first day. Gawd some people have 10-4 and are off on mondays/tuesdays!

I work 9-5 mon-fri for two weeks.

I ran out of jobs in the end so had a lovely game of bejeweled (which im now addicted to.)

Im going to lose a lot of weight , had to move like.. 20 or so pc's up two floors. God the sweat was driping everywhere

Well if they're mad enough to let you through the door in the first place there's a small chance they'll let you go back there, and it could well be your only choice for a while when entering teh Big Bad World (tm) again at a later stage.

Work hard, don't piss about and don't piss em off, is my best advice.

If you can, impress them with your unbeatable knowledge on collage techniques.

Oh also, alot of people who do work experience usually get a job offer there at the end of the 2 weeks, so impress them.
