Yeah in most cases I agree ...

that Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie one is bloody awfull ... in the after they're both "perfect" or what society conciders perfect anyway.

In the first nicole is ... well far from it .. still a hot babe way out of my league but a lot less of a model.

It's almost not "touching up a picture" anymore. It's ehh .. lying .. deceit ... imo.

To be honest, most of them would be defined as 'hot' without the airbrushing.

It certainly does not help the situation of obesity and anarexoics when celebrities are having every little ounce of fat bought off them.

1. Is do we want our celebs to be(or at least look) larger then life.
2. Why do we care what others think of how we look.

And how you answer one has no bearing on how you answer the other.

or are you saying that if i followed a celeb would i like them real or larger than life? it isnt possible for me to answer. i never have and never will idolise/follow a celeb.

and to point number 2.

actually the only type of celeb i would maybe 'admire' is the celeb who is an average joe like me. and i dont know any. even then it wouldnt be full admiration. just a little bit of hey im the same as you!
