Lying in the sun and swimming!

Decided I deserved a long break. I'm also gonna use the time to learn how to cook, and get fit! :)

P.S. I am a fluffy bunny rabbit IRL sar, ask anyone who knows me :(

I borrowed a friends villa for £300 for the month, and got flights for 90 quid. Also going with someone who is paying for half the villa so I got a months holiday, down in the south of spain, for £240 all in :)

Gonna use the time for major self improvement and tanning :D

Jammy fucker :p

Seriously considering Oz for a month or two perhaps, gonna wait until I quit work (22 DAY AND COUNTING FOLKS!) and get all my debts paid off and see what money I have left.

Wise words, Damini.

*jot that down*

I suspect I'll be breaking up with my gf over Easter. :( The fact is she's 19. Been going out with me for two years, and another bloke for a year before that.

She's been in a long-term relationship since she was 16, ffs and understandably feels like she's never actually been on her own. I can understand this because I had a fantastic time in my mid to late teens and no matter how open and encouraging I am, my very existance restricts how she lives her life.

Its all very weird. We're best friends, we love each other very much and we both know that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. BUT she has this niggling feeling that will just grow over time. The only thing we can do is to split up and just see what happens. Maybe we'll get back together sometime down the line. Maybe we won't. It's all very depressing. :(

I'll miss her.

Sounds great :)

Going round Europe with uni. buddy over August.

Think we'll be doing that inter rail thing where you can go round zones of countries for under £200...

Thinking France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, Greece and Turkey (of course Monaco is included in there somewhere!).

That's exactly what I did Sar when I volunteered for for redundancy back in october.

Cleared all my debts off totally, getting rid of my car this month, and taking some time out to have a relaxing break and re-charge.

I'll be free from money worries, direct debits, credit cards, car finance, financial advisers, bank statements, bank charges and material gain for a good few months, and it feels good :)

And I'm gonna look darn good with a stonking tan ¦]

Dunno if it's a possiblity, but I would definately recommend Switzerland. Fantastic country, inhabited by some of the most bonkers people on the planet. Well worth a visit. The ski slopes rock aswell :)

I've been single for quite a few years, and tbh it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I like being by myself quite a bit and have no qualms about doing stuff on my own, eg: Going on holiday and so on.

I know of people that can't do anything without having someone (their significant other etc) go with them, and I pity them. To be that utterly dependant on another person to more or less justify your own existance must be crippling.

I have a very strong sense of ME and who I am, so don't need anyone else to make me feel complete/worthy. Yes it'd be nice to be in a committed relationship, married or otherwise, but I'm not one of those people that can't function without someone else. Likewise like a lot of men I'm not afraid of committment, so figure that one out :)

We may do it. It adds an extra zone to the rail... but I was just thinking of hitching there from the nearest country.

Can't wait for Italy... Sicily is just too good :)

Supposed to be 3:1 last I heard

Not true unfortunately. It's one of those enduring myths that started (apparently) after the Boer war (or some war) when a large proportion of Nottingham's male population got brutally slaughtered in the pursuit of some stupid shit. Desperately in need of an able bodied workforce to maintain Nottingham/s huge industry at the time various sources spread the rumour that the female:male ratio was 3:1 or something in the hope of enticing large numbers of randy men into the area and then into the factories. There *was* a higher than average female:male ratio for a few years, but it was many decades ago.

Now Nottingham's full of slappers and wankers, shite place.

As for the whole thread women/men/relationships theme, well, women can do stupid things and hurtful things, yes, but so can men. The only key to a good relationship is honesty and communication and they're difficult skills to learn, a lot of people are very very bad at them. All I can say is don't let bad experiences make you scared that every relationship is going to cause you pain, which, let's face it, is going to happen anyway, hurt is part and parcel of the whole thing. And with that in mind, always do whatever you can to not hurt other people.

Dunno why I'm offering advice ffs, my wife is leaving me, I clearly haven't got a fucking clue :p

I still feel like crap, but best solution for all?
Ok, selective quoting time ;)

The bit in bold was the bit I noticed, reminded me of the mistakes I have made. Best solution in situations like that is be honest. You knew it would hurt if you did, but you still said it was ok. Admittedly, as Aunty Damini said, a nice girl wouldn't have done that. You just don't do that to someone, get all friendly just to appease your guilty because you want their mate.

And the "woman go with bastards" thing, it is true for a while. But they do learn. At least, I can hope. Though too nice all the time is bad too. I can think of certain situations where taking the lead is important.
Anyone who isn't already grinning at that, you don't need to know.

Yer, women definitely evil.

[long story-short]
2 1/2 years happy together, phones up me mobile one day and finishes, then proceeds to avoid me for 2 months totally. :(

BITCH...
[/long story-short]

Spent a month feeling totally destroyed, picked myself up, went to gym, tanning, ate better and am now with someone 10x better making sweet love where ever we feel like it :D

/me waits to have confidence crushed again... :(

Er, what was your ex's reason for splitting up so suddenly like that? After 2½ years together you'd imagine it'd be a gradual thing, or that she'd have the fucking decency to tell you to your face.

Bitch.
