Wolf Demo Probs?>

Anyone get this problem....

I play for, say, an hour - averaging about 50-60fps. Then suddenly, whenever a player character is on screen my fps drop to 7 or 8. Turn away from them and my fps go back up, someone runs across my view they go back to 7-8!?!

Can't see it being a problem with my system:

1G athlon, 512Meg Ram, GeFarce1 DDR, Win2k SP2.

Anyone else experience this?

Also, the maps getting pretty boring now

Well if you have dropped all the gfx settings down then it would be a problem.

Try typing r_picmip 5 in the console and then vid_restart after it.

Other than that umm remember it is a beta test so it could be a bit fux0red..

Maybe someone else can help more, ive only played the first release and i thought it was shite
