First hand experience? True, I haven't experienced 'being flamed for being new' myself, but I do beleive it or not read these boards and hence can make my OWN informed OPINION.

I understand that this is where the 'regulars' come to relax and escape from the stress, but some of the attitudes towards 'new members' if far from justified.

You (not you personally, as far as I've noticed) preach about people not 'making useless threads', but frequently post inane drivel about 'Ooh, it's the weekend' and the such. The hipocrasy of the posters on this board is some what ludicrus.

I don't think we flame newbies, we just flame people who spoil our way. You could say that's elitest etc etc, however here's a simple truth:
This board is inhabited by us.

If people don't like the way things are, then they don't want to be here. People who are new, and come here, and like it, stay, and generally don't get flamed. Even people who at first acted like cunts, such as Suicide121, stop acting like cunts, and are now welcome on the General board, as much as any other.

Sturty, you obviously feel superior, to pe0ns such as myself, due to your old registered date, which is amusing, when you're trying to take a not as childish and petty as you attitude.
