Without SI

How many people out there are playing without SI? How's the experience for you guys. One of my reasons for quitiing was the fact i couldnt play SI on my machine. Now im feeling the call of the game again & wonder what its like without SI.

A pile of shite.

Seriously though i have a laptop with PIII 1GHZ 512MB Ram & wait for it............................. an s3 twister graphics card (which i believe is where my problem lies).

/make mental note never to buy a laptop again.

u can run SI just dont turn any of the gfx effects on

new classes are nothing special anyway and the effects are nice but nothing worth getting worked up over tbh apart from the fact the new landscape is quite nice the game itself isnt "that" good imo but hey thats the way the cookie crumbles!

Tried every possible setting but it wont run. Repeatedly crashes to desktop & the graphics are all screwed up.

Id stick with the old client u can still have fun in the old lands and rvr is still there.

Nah the s3 is only 16mb. Which i believe accounts for the cacky graphics. The crashes i believe are probably one of two things. The card or the motherboard which i believe is Via but i have no idea what the board is to update the drivers.
