and dont bith about the 39CD please, Im pretty determined about that part, basicly what Im asking is if its worth dropping pierce form 39 to 34 to get the better dammage add. (2,9 <-> 5,4)

dont gone bitch about the cd im a shade so dont really know rangers so well but going from 34-39 in cd is 185 points and gives u 2.5% extra to hit with both. (from 62.5%-->65% without ras if u are rrk6)

keep cd and piercing both at 34 and u have 370 points then do what u fell with them, my 2 cents

If you are determinded to go high cd then you should look to take pathfininding to a decent lvl, every off-hand swing = more dmg from dmg-add buff. OC higher weapon skill = more chance to hit etc so it is kinda a catch-66 situation. From the looks of your template, seems very much a stealther-killer kinda template, pop an arrow to drop stealth and do some dmg, then melee them down, provided your arrow hits, oc best bet is to play about with whatever template you like, single line respec stones are common drops on galla raids etc now so you do at least have the chance to switch if your not overly happy with whatever spec you go for.

My Ranger uses high bow, weapon and cd with minimal PF, then again, when he ran in groups he was there for RF to disrupt healers/casters etc so the actual dmg he did was not *that* important and he does/did have a buff-bot which changes the equation a lot.

I would say experiment and find out what suits your playstyle best and get in on some Galla raids just in case. 34 cd +11 + rr = a very nice chance at o/h swings (throw in some MoP/AP and IP and its a very nice template to run )

So .. i guess i would go spec 2

I'd like to add, even with that spec, you'll still die to the stealth zerg in Odins / Emain.. You'll still get Owned by Infil's, SB's.... You'll get shot to pieces by low RR Hunters, scouts with TS....

Rangers arent meant to be tanks, they suck at melee, you can maybe dish out some decent damage, but you sure as feck cant take any lol.... I would up bow myself, personal choice...

if you insist on going so high CD, you should go for 27 path, as the dmg add ofcourse is better the more you swing offhand.

you wont have high WS with either bow or weapon, hence you will 'miss' often vs targets with good defense.

you will probable perform well in leecher situations or bigger fights then ~3vs3, since you can do good damage when you are out of end, but in smaller scale fights you are rather fooked i think.

interesting how it would work out for you tho, i guess its all about playing style. there is a reason most arnt specced smilar tho (afaik)

im finding this shockingly good.

Ranger can solo pretty well now i find. I stay well away from the MG's though.

Classes I used to struggle with b4 are dropping much more easily.

I even nailed a lvl 50 bone dancer the other day by greasing his commander ofc.

If rangers had a bit more survivability in grps they would be a gr8 all round class. Atm though they arnt bad.

to be any good in grps you need 50 bow though.

gives 12 left over pts - its a good spec imho if u have a buffbot
