Seems like I'm posting here every other week :p

After you lot helping me choose a DVD player for my bedroom TV I'm now looking at the easiest and cheapest way to get a TV signal to it. Unfortunately my area of edinburgh has pitiful reception for even the best indoor aerials so unless I want to start drilling holes in walls to get a new wire through (which I dont really) I think my only option is to stream the signal from my TV in the lounge.

Is there a cheap option here? Do these streamers allow you to change your channel remotely or simply stream whatever channel the main unit is playing? I currently have a wifi router for my net connection so do they make use of that or would they interfere?

Any help appreciated :)

Do you have a link to an example product?

I've seen some streamers but in my experience they've been shitty (low quality or blocky)

Anything wrong with using BBC's iPlayer, C4's 4oD and the like?
That's one way to get a TV picture on your screen. :)

dont think theres anything that will stream live tv from an aerial to a second tv... no point as all you need is an aerial socket so a drill as you mentioned ..

to stream content from a pc is easier but from a tv signal i think the processing would take a lot and it would be clunky
