Have you configured your router? (bang in the router IP address in a web browser to configure it)

Usually, you have to setup the ISP username and PW login (for ADSL anyway)

Go to Start> Run, and write "CMD"

write

Code:
ipconfig /all

You should have a value for IP address, gateway and subnet mask.
If you're not configuring your IP address manually, then DHCP should be enabled both on your PC, and on the router.

Yeah you still need to give the router the User/Pass for the account. Its a one time configuration.

Like Silverhood says browse to the gateway. My guess is it will be 10.0.0.1 or if its a cheap one like the one I got from Ebuyer try 10.0.0.2.

Once you get it all working look into WEP encryption for your wireless router as most routers come unsecure and open to anyone out there with a wireless device. Last thing you want is someone else using your bandwidth :)
