Hi,

Just bought a Microsoft Desktop 1000 for Sharon to use on her PC. It works just fine, but the computer refuses to see it when first switched on.

I have reinstalled the software twice and found the newest versions. All it takes is to unplug and replug the usb cable, but this is a bit of a pain cos of where the computer is.

Has anyone got any idea how I can sort this? I sent a detailed explanation to Microsoft and expected a reply in 24 hours, that was on Tuesday.

Thanks

RB

just a quick silly question.

Could you check and see if your bios has "USB Keyboard" enabled?

Cant remember where abouts in the BIOS its found tho :( sometimes buried in the Advanced options

thats the only thing i can think of :(

Thanks for the advice Insane. I'll give it a go tomorrow.

I know it's a tricky one to answer, I just haven't a clue where to start with it.
