reasonably decent article on la reg highlighting many of the points argued about in this fine debate over the years. even I liked it, and I'm sick and tired of the whole this-better-than-that jazz. implement the server that suits your intended purpose best within the scope of your wishes says TdC, but what do I know?

naturally I'm a unix god, and the report's writer is a linux fan, so I suppose this discredits the whole thing somewhat in the eyes of the unwashed, but so be it

Happened today.

What's really scary is when you see one of those on your bank's ATM. Telling you something along the lines of "Please restart VirusScan".
