A nice simple thread ere :)

Support your fav OS by writing its name but also giving it a reason.

For example,

Linux because Bill sucks cocks or Windows because there are no pengiuns in the North Pole.

Quite simple really ;)

RH Linux w/kde: I dunno, it just feels so much better than the windows GUI, and i'm the kind of person who likes playing with things, so Linux suits me :)

I'm running Windows myself, I'd change to another OS (I'm thinking FreeBSD here ;)), but I can't afford the downtime on my PC to be honest. Once I get my ugrading done (middle of the year?), I think I'll finally get around to it.:D

Win 2k Pro for me atm. I will get my head round Red Hat Linux though. Lindows is looking better all the time, however.

W2k - as it's the most stable product MS have ever made. XP is shite, in the same way that ME is shite to w98

Win2k Pro. Stable as........a very stable thing......although it keeps crashing when i play UT for long amounts of time. The solution? Don't play UT

Windows NT4 for stability.

Windows XP for a mix of stability and being able to run stuff.

Windows 2k for the funky fading menus.

Linux for beer coasters.

Use: Win2k Pro
Reason: Cos it lets me play my games, but don't crash like 9x

Win XP

- Cause it's stable (for me certainly) it runs everything I've thrown at it and wont fall down. Including trying to play 250 MP3s at once in seperate instances of WinAmp.

Win 2000 Pro

Cause I don't need to activate it, and it nice and stable, and all my hardware comes with drivers for it. Unlike Xp :uhoh:

XP for me as it has the stability of 2K and all the extra visual bells and whistles and useful system features make it a pleasure to use.
