All,
I've just purchased a DLP projector for my home cinema (100" screens at least) which will be connected to the analogue VGA on the 9800 Pro. However, its native resolution is 800*600 and my TFT resolution is 1280*1024. When the projector is switched on and enabled in the advanced properties of the display tab, I have an 800*600 window which I can scroll about a 1280*1024 virtual desktop. The projector can be fed a 1280*1024 res, but it's out of its native res so (in the case of a TFT) doesn't look too hot.
My question is this; is there anyway to 'lock' the virtual desktop so that the projector will always display a small portion of my 1280*1024 desktop? This would be ideal and allow me to run a graphical front end (myHTPC) at 800*600 in this 'locked' area on the desktop.
Any suggestions?
