Windows version query

I have the official Windows 7 Home Premium dvd. I also have a Windows 7 Professional cd key spare. Can I use my Windows 7 Home Premium dvd, but put in the Professional cd key and it will install that version?

If not, what's the easiest way to get a Windows 7 Professional cd?

If you have HP installed you should be able to run the anytime upgrade in the control panel to get Professional.

Failing that you could try torrenting an ISO for Pro and using your key with it.

Just try it dude. Worst case the installer will reject the key and you'll have to use the Home Premium one.
