Windows profiles and wireless

There's probably something fundamental I'm misunderstanding but here's the problem:

Wired Lan in Office to which my laptop (Dell latitude 620) connects fine and logs onto the domain fine.

I have a wireless network at home and I can log onto it fine when I log onto the laptop with a local user account however if I log onto the laptop using the stored domain username and password then it won't let me log onto the wireless network or show any of the stored profiles.

Any suggestions?

Well without knowing the set up of your company domain I would hazard a guess that either;

1) Your stored network user name has less system access to your laptop than the local account

or

2) Your stored network user profile has a proxy server address locked into its internet settings for network based internet access. If this is the case your laptop is trying to look for that proxy server and when it can't find it, it simply says page not displayed.

Or i'm completely wrong, but hey that's a guess
